Welcome to Reading Rebecca

Hello, book lovers!

I’m Rebecca, and this is the start of something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time.

If you know me in real life, you already know I’m that person. The one who brings a book to every waiting room. The one who stays up too late because ā€œjust one more chapterā€ turned into finishing the whole thing at 2 AM. The one who gets genuinely emotional talking about fictional characters at brunch.

Why Start a Blog?

I’ve been recommending books to friends, coworkers, and honestly, strangers in bookstores for years. At some point, people started saying: ā€œYou should write this stuff down.ā€ So here we are.

Reading Rebecca is my space to share:

  • Honest reviews of the books I’m reading (the ones I love and the ones that didn’t quite land)
  • Reading lists for every mood, season, and book club meeting
  • Bookish musings about the reading life, because sometimes you just need to talk about why a certain paragraph made you cry on the train

What I Read

I’m drawn to contemporary fiction, literary fiction, book club picks, and women’s fiction. I love stories about complicated women making messy decisions. I love family sagas that span generations. I love quiet novels that creep up on you and loud ones that grab you by the collar.

I’m not a snob about it. A beach read can be just as satisfying as a Pulitzer winner. What matters is that a book makes you feel something.

What to Expect

I’ll post reviews, recommendations, and occasional personal essays about life as a reader. I keep things honest and conversational. Think of this as chatting about books over coffee with a friend who has very strong opinions about book covers.

Welcome to Reading Rebecca. I’m so glad you’re here.
